LastPass (Password Protection)
If you followed my tips and tried many of the tools above, it means you've created a lot of accounts protected by a password. Let's not lie to each other here: I am sure you don't create a unique password for each platform or tool you signup for. This would be the way to go but people are too lazy to do so. With all these tools, remembering your logins and passwords can be impossible and this is why you always use the same. Then, use Lastpass! All you need is to remember a single "Master" password for LastPass and you'll stay secure.

Lots of great tools on this list. I never heard of the LinkedIn one or the email finder. Thanks!

    • Jonathan says:

Thanks Ian for your kind comment. Those tools are really great and I hope they’ll help you; a few common ones and classics and some not as popular but very effective. 😉

Hi Jonathan, thank you for sharing this awesome list, pretty amazing tools, some of them I never heard of even if I’m researching and testing new tools every day.

I’m the founder at WeGrowth and whole community is obsessed with quality Growth work. Let’s say that we call ourselves UpWork for Growth Hackers.

I wanted to add some tools that we found very useful in our work, like:
    – Amplitude (similar as Mixpanel)
    – Hotjar
    – AdEspresso (for FB ads)
    – Close.io
    – ActiveCampaign

    • Jonathan says:

      Hey Aleksandar,
Thanks for your nice and motivating message. I’m pleased to hear you like the list and although you’re specialized in growth and testing new tools every day, I still came up with some tools you didn’t know about.
Thank you for recommending me these 5 tools. I use ActiveCampaign and AdEspresso and they are indeed great. I’ve heard about Hotjar and Close.io but never had the chance to try them out just yet. I will definitely have a look to Amplitude, I’m used to MixPanel but always looking for great alternatives.

Tons of awesome tools on this list, and I actually use or have used quite a few of them. However, I wanted to mention a few other tools for your multi-disciplinary list, enter GreenRope and JourneyFlow. With the customer experience being so important, it’s pretty critical for businesses to focus their efforts there. I also think Growth Hackers can really benefit from all-in-one tools to help them tie everything together, efficiently.

    • Jonathan says:

Thanks Alessandra for your comments and suggestions. I will check those tools out for our ‘multi-disciplinary’ list.
I totally agree with you, having tools to help businesses tie everything together is very important. 😉

Impressive list, I already use some of them, but I am going to check out more. You have done your research well. Why didn’t you list GetResponse? I think they are less restrictive in some features. And they now have a CRM build in. So 2 flies in one catch as a Dutch saying is. 🙂

    • Jonathan says:

Thanks Joe. Indeed, we did a lot of research and testing to come up with this list. We didn’t list GetResponse not because we don’t like it but just because we cannot list them all. There are hundreds if not thousand of great tools out there, we wanted to come up with a digestible list, not a list with all the tools where you easily get lost by the quantity.
For instance, there are other tools like FindThatLead, ClickFunnels, ActiveCampaign, AdEspresso, OptinMonster, Backly, LinkedHelper, Moz, AnswerThePublic, HARO that we find great and useful too but we didn’t list them. 😉

    Hey Jonathan,

Great piece! You listed some incredible tools. I think another one that might be good for the mobile growth hackers is Appsee (www.appsee.com). They provide qualitative mobile app analytics which utilizes user session recordings and touch heatmaps to help mobile professionals see how users are interacting in the app.

    Thanks,
    Emily

    • Jonathan says:

      Hi Emily,
Thanks for your kind comment. Indeed, a lot of great tools there. To be honest, I didn’t know AppSee. Going to check it out! Cheers.
